The electronics service provider TQ-Systems has acquired all shares in Colour Control GmbH, Chemnitz. The enterprise with its 15 employees operates now as TQ-Systems Chemnitz GmbH and will continue to offer its services in the field of colorimetry as well as its development services to industrial customers. TQ-Systems will collaborate with the other TQ locations more closely than before.
TQ’s Managing Director Rüdiger Stahl explains the background of the company integration: “We have been working together with Colour Control GmbH on a regular base for years. After the Managing Director Uwe Fritzsch passed away last year, we decided to acquire all shares in the company thereby securing this location. Our colleagues in Chemnitz are a highly qualified team of developers and are an asset to our company. They know TQ and its customers already through a number of different projects.” Andreas Goldschmidt, the Plant Manager of TQ-Systems Chemnitz, adds: “As part of the TQ-Group, we are now in a position to provide our customers the complete package of system services which, in addition to electronics development, includes production, testing, and after sales service as well as taking over product responsibility within the Product Lifecycle Management. We produce in the four locations in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia - they are not too far away from Saxony.”
With TQ-Systems Chemnitz, approximately 80 employees are working today in the development area of the TQ-Group. This team develops the hard and software, the layout, and the mechanics of electronic subassemblies and complete units for industrial customers, always customized according to their individual requirements. For the last 20 years, the plant in Chemnitz has been providing not only electronics development, but also services in the field of colorimetry and sensor technology. Moreover, the company markets colorimetry devices, industrial cameras, and in-house developed infrared spectrometers.
